SandWorld's Sand Sculpture Festival – From Sci-Fi Adventures to Dinosaurs, open daily from Saturday 30^th March from 10.30am.

Just a reminder, there are no toilet facilities on site, but you are welcome to use public toilets in the car park 2 minutes away.

Last admission 15/4 - 24/5 is at 3pm (2.30pm Fridays)

Last admission 25/5 - 2/6 is at 3.30pm

Located in Weymouth, SandWorld showcases awe-inspiring work by some of the world’s leading sand sculptors – and is the UK's only Sand Sculpture Festival. Opened in 2011 by Weymouth “Sandman” Mark Anderson, and David Hicks, an aspiring sand sculptor and good friend of Mark.

During this year’s festival, from Sci-Fi Adventures to Dinosaurs, see breathtaking sand sculptures based on films and TV, plus, jaw-dropping dinosaur sand sculptures celebrating our dramatic Jurassic Coast. New displays will be added throughout the season, with many guests being able to watch in wonder as sculptors create their works of art.

The sculptures are so beautifully detailed, it is hard to believe that they are just sand and water.

You are never too young or too old to create your own mini masterpiece. With daily workshops, plus, plenty of tools and water available, you can enjoy hands-on family fun whilst turning your ideas into 3D art.
